Harbingers of Ragnarok is the first series set in the Dystopian Technofantasy world of Hymgard, though the world does not entirely bear that name yet.
As the name suggests, with this series, I set out to tell my own stories based around the myths of Ragnarok, the great battle of the Norse Gods and the Jotunn. Covering the battles in a more character focused light and bringing the ancient myths of the Norse into this fresh, new setting.
This also serves to set up my world of Hymgard, creating the stories of Ragnarok that shaped the world as it is now known, though some of the stories may have changed in the modern world. We all know how history is written.

Malik should be dead. He would be. If Fen hadn't come along.
In return for bringing Malik back from Hel's gates, Malik must help Fen achieve his goal: to tear down the corrupt government of Midgard.
Plunged into a world of blood, sweat, and rage, Malik finds new bonds within the Berserker's brotherhood, throwing everything he thought he wanted into question.

Berserker
War is coming. As the icy grasp of winter refuses to yield over Midgard, the rising threat of a full-scale Jotun invasion looms from the north.
With tension rising in the city, the Lord-General instates martial law, recalling Midgard’s army to the city limits, the responsibility of all external military operations falling to the Mjolnar, Sons of Tyr, Valkyrie and the Berserkers.
Alongside his newfound kin, Malik soon finds himself on the front lines. In this violent conflict, fresh wounds sting with a familiar pain, drawing memories of old scars and friends to the fore.
